MOST Forum 2012: MOST Cooperation entlässt MOST150 auf die Straße
Karlsruhe, 9. Februar 2012 - Die MOST Cooperation (MOSTCO) - die Standardisierungsorganisation der MOST (Media Oriented Systems Transport) Technologie - unterstützt das vierte MOST Forum am 20. März 2012 in Stuttgart/Esslingen wieder als Technologiepartner und Aussteller, um die neuesten Technologie-Highlights zu zeigen. "Die diesjährige Ausstellung steht unter dem Motto des Markteintrittes von MOST150, mit dem 2012 die dritte Generation der MOST Technologie an den Start geht", erläutert Dr. Christian Thiel, Administrator der MOST Cooperation. "MOST150 erfüllt nicht nur die Anforderungen der klassischen Bereiche Entertainment und Information, sondern auch der neuen Domänen Mobile Connectivity, Connected Services und Fahrerassistenz. Wir sind stolz, dass automotive Ethernet via MOST150 2012 in Serie geht." Neben der Übertragung von High-Definition Audio und Video bietet die neueste Version auch den einsatzbereiten Physical Layer für Ethernetprotokolle im Auto. Damit entspricht MOST einem IEEE802.x-Netzwerk.
MOST für Fahrerassistenz
Zusätzlich zur Ausstellung spricht Dr. Wolfgang Bott, Technischer Koordinator der MOSTCO, zum Thema "Fahrerassistenz mit MOST". In seiner Präsentation am 20. März 2012 um 14:30 Uhr wird Dr. Bott die Notwendigkeit für eine nahtlose Integration von Infotainment- und Fahrerassistenzsystemen aufzeigen. Die Anforderungen an sowohl Echtzeit als auch hohe Bandbreite müssen erfüllt sein. Erste Wahl wird daher der Ansatz für ein Multi-Channel-Netzwerk mit inhärenter Synchronizität sein. Wenn dann noch zusätzliche Vorteile wie Reifegrad, Kosteneffizienz und flexible Topologie mit der passenden Sicherheitsanforderungsstufe (Safety Integrity Level) einhergehen, erweist sich MOST aus Systemsicht als die beste Lösung.
